I’m a multimedia artist, graphic designer, photographer, wife, mom, grandma and hippie chick living in small town USA.

My artistic journey is an ever-evolving journey, fueled by a desire to learn. Whether it’s through formal education or simply figuring things out as I go, I love discovering new techniques. Working with different mediums has taught me to think outside the box, and as a result, I’ve become a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. Many times turning a mistake or making do with what I have into something beautiful (or let’s be honest, weird!).

My artistic process moves in phases—one moment, I’m painting acrylic backgrounds or patina on copper; the next, I’m crafting bug coffins or designing delicate wings. Lately, I’ve been diving back into life drawing, which has reignited my passion for sketching, and I’m also experimenting with collage using my photography.

In addition to creating, I love sharing what I’ve learned. With an associate’s degree in Commercial Art and a bachelor’s in Art Education, teaching has always been part of my journey. I recently started a YouTube channel to combine my passion for art with my love of teaching.

My work spans multiple genres—collage, photography, sculpture, paper arts, and graphic design. I am forever intrigued with mediums that are a bit unpredictable. Like Fantasy Film, I love taking it from a flat film sheet into 3-dimensional melted film creations and wings. I also use fabric, found objects, jewelry, photos, wood, paint, glitter, wire, organic objects and any other type of ephemera I find pleasing (including bugs!).
